About The Trust

In the last 70 years heritage and environment have become more prominent and the interest in the enhancement of restored buildings, for both private housing and business has increased. The Trust is active in the field of public consultation and opinion, conservation education and social projects.

The trustees are invited as consultants to comment on development proposals within the cities Conservation Areas and on Listed Buildings which are submitted to the council.

The Trust is also invited to represent public views on major projects and partnerships and vision groups concerning development of the city, including transport centres, Lindongate, Historic Lincoln Partnership, the Castle and East-West Link Road highway plans.

The Trust also sell books which have been published such as ‘Fascicules’ of uphill areas and other books that have been produced by the ‘Survey of Lincoln’ group (https://www.thesurveyoflincoln.co.uk/pubs).
